The bottomline is that any repressive piece of legislation which can be misused by the powers-that-be to prohibit or curtail legitimate freedom of expression by its opponents is, in essence, a bad law.

If the Prime Minister has been advised that the current listing is the best way to benefit Felda settlers, he has been wrongly advised. He needs to do a quick turnaround, scuttle the listing in the interests of settlers as well as in the national interest, and go back to the drawing board.
If Dr Lim Teck Ghee in particular cannot substantiate his scurrilous comments on me, he should shut up. Otherwise, I would be compelled to reveal how he has metamorphosed from Marxist to MCA intellectual to PR apologist.
