Former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has claimed that he does not understand what ‘1Malaysia’ stands for and suggested his ‘Malaysia Boleh’ is a better slogan.

Without allowing RCI to probe into Teoh Beng Hock's death, how can it fathom what went wrong with MACC operations when these two factors are integral and inseparable.

Through decades of Umno rule, practically all government institutions have become largely mono-racial and displaying political partisanship and discrimination in clear violation of the Constitution when exercising their duties.

Judgment empowering EC to over-rule Speaker is groundless

In a written judgment by Justice Nik Hashim Nik Rahman, the Federal Court empowered the Election Commission (EC) to over-rule the Speaker over the resignations of the three ‘independents’ in Perak and declared these assemblymen continue to stay as assemblymen.

This judgment, released on June 15, 2009 --  67 days after the oral judgment was given by the panel of five judges on April 9 -- is flawed on two scores.
