The main thrust of Hindraf class action suit is to show how the British government had been negligent at the time the Malaysian constitution was enacted without taking into consideration nor offering rightful protection for the Malaysian Indians.

Can the government promise that all young Malaysians will be given fair treatment, and racial or regional discrimination will not be tolerated in order to encourage non-Malay recruitment into the civil service?
I say this because, any piece of legislation which imprisons people for holding different views and opinions is to say the least, draconic. Such a law should not be a part of any legal system.
