We have been going backwards in our education standards so much so that a comparison of PISA scores shows that 15 year olds in Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong and Shanghai are performing as though they have had three or more years of schooling than Malaysians of the same age.

The 1960s was a time when teenagers could have fun together without the scourge of religious separatism and Malay boys had Chinese girlfriends, Chinese boys had Malay girlfriends. Then May 13 happened and lives became forever changed.

petronasThe first step to make Petronas more transparent and accountable is to open up its account books and to investigate the allegations made by Jeffrey Kittingan that Petronas oil is not sold directly to the world market but funnelled through selected option holders.
